Paramount owns properties all across Ottawa. They will increase your rent every chance they get, even suing the city when they cut rent by 1%, and they often apply for above the guideline increase, which has been a 5% increase in rent for all tenants 3 years in a row. If you live there, be prepared to be summoned to court with the LTB yearly to fight above-guideline rent increases on items that are sometimes not eligible. They're apparently allowed to opperate as one unit even with four buildings with different addresses on Prince of wales Drive which lets them get lazy and improperly raising your rents on work that happens on another building you don't have access to. If you want peace, look elsewhere.
